Rainforest Discovery for Conservation is a joint business venture between Advantage Panama Tours and ADOPTA. Reservations for any of these tours directly support ADOPTA's conservation, research, environmental education, and community development programs.
These tours occur within and around Soberanía national park, near the Panama canal. This 19,541-hectare area contains a spectacular biodiversity and is a great place to observe a wide range of animals and tropical plants. It's also one of the most prolific birdwatching sites in the country, with more than 500 species of birds recorded from the canal area!

People of the Jungle: The Emberá
This afternoon, prepare to travel back in time as we visit the indigenous Emberá people. On our way down the Chagres River to the community, we will look for birds, turtles, and alligators. Despite being close to Panama City, the Emberá maintain most of their ancestral traditions. The cultural exchange will be extraordinary!
